She also subsequently dealt with lymphedema, fluid collection that swells the arms or legs when lymph nodes are removed or damaged during cancer surgery. In addition, she chose not to have reconstructive breast surgery. “I’ve joined the ranks of women who are going flat, as they say,” she told ET. “I don’t have breasts—so why do I have to pretend like I do?”
